Little Sprouts is a program that feeds children in Roatan Hondurus weekly. Love Child sponsors the Little Sprouts with a monthly commitment sent to Estrellita, the founder of Little Sprouts. Estrellita has been running this ministry for over 6 years, teaching the kids about God and giving them a hot meal every week. God has laid it on Estrellita’s heart to feed the kids a meal not just a snack. Hunger is an issue on the island as many are without work. Love Child is committed to growing this ministry and feeding more as it grows. In addition to sponsoring the weekly Friday feedings, we also monthly send home a box of cereal and milk, we currently can only send one per family. Eventually we would like to have enough funding to send one box of cereal and milk home with each child. Currently The Little Sprouts met on Friday’s and Estrellita feeds between 70-80 kids.
